It seems that nothing is safe anymore. Not even Google search results. One of the way that hackers can lure you into clicking on dangerous websites is to practice the same thing that business websites practice: Search Engine Optimization or SEO. SEO practices optimize a website so that it appears at or near the top of a search result page.
Hackers are doing this to their websites, in the hope that you and I will click on the search result and inadvertently downloading malware to your computer. This malware then searches your computer for valuable information like saved passwords, financial files and anything else they can turn into cash.

How to Safeguard your home wifi network
Many people think that their home wifi network is too "small potatoes" for hackers to mess with. You don't need Anonymous hacking collective coming after you to have your life turned upside down. It could be your neighbor who insists on playing death metal music at 1am. Sure, it would have been better to go over and talk with him instead of just calling the police, but what's done is done. Since you're now paranoid about him hacking into your wifi network, you need a game plan.
